After assessing the entries from the finalists, the international judging panel from Art Omi has awarded the residency in Art Omi to Javier Rodríguez Pérez-Curiel. The residency will take place from June 23th to July 18th of 2022 in Ghent, a rural town in the state of New York.

eremuak, in collaboration with Art Omi, is calling for applications for an international residency for residents in the Basque Autonomous Community who have been professionally active for at least the past 3 years.

The proposal aims to support the internationalization of artists and/or creators working in the context of the visual arts.

The residency will take place in Art Omi, located in Ghent, a rural New York State. Art Omi will make available to the artist a cash stipend of $500 to purchase materials for work. eremuak will cover the travel expenses of the selected artist, provide a travel allowance of €500 and will take care of a basic health insurance for the selected person. The artist will also enjoy a private studio, shared living quarters and free meals during the residency.
