Sarean

Sarean is an independent space for community and participatory culture of an experimental nature, located in the Corazón de María plaza in the San Francisco district of Bilbao. Sarean is managed collectively and works to host and promote cultural proposals with the aim of nourishing and impacting our community. Sarean is a living entity, an open space, a mutating project that arises from a neighbourhood drive, feeding from local initiatives for which a space is supported and granted. Sarean’s activity focuses on activating and promoting contemporary cultural
proposals, activities and projects located and rooted in the local context. Sarean is a dynamic and energising space structured through collectivity and which throughout the year enhance the value of the area's rich and diverse cultural fabric.
