Ander Perez Puelles

Ander Pérez Puelles (Llodio, 1996) studied Fine Arts and completed a Master’s degree in Research and Creation at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). His work has been shown in spaces such as Tabakalera (Donostia) and Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien (Berlin), and he has developed his practice through residencies at Fundación Bilbaoarte and Azkuna Zentroa. His video processes displace the frontal gaze, understood as a perceptual convention, to explore ways of seeing that expand the relationship between perception and technique. He is currently in the post-production phase of his first medium-length film, shot in the surroundings of Berlin.
