Andoni Zamora Txakartegi

Andoni Zamora Txakartegi (Lekeitio, 1992) is a visual artist trained in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and in the master’s program Studio for Immediate Spaces at the Sandberg Instituut, Amsterdam. His practice unfolds through performance and spatial work, exploring the relativity of perception and reality. He uses tools such as scriptwriting and scenography to insert new narratives into real contexts, seeking a space between the real and the represented. His work always stems from a close relationship with place, beginning with the observation of the environment and how it is transformed through the gaze and presence of the audience, who take on an active role within his pieces.
