Graduated in History from the University of the Basque Country and complemented her training in audiovisual arts with a diploma in Creative Documentary from the Francesca Bonnemaison centre in Barcelona. She is currently completing her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, investigating issues that relate cinematographic representation with feminism and the Basque political conflict.

 

Her activity as a film-maker began in 2012 when she directed several pieces of work, the short film EURITAN (2017) being outstanding among these. In 2018, she was selected for Ikusmira Berriak, an international residency programme organised by the San Sebastian Film Festival, Tabakalera and the Elías Querejeta Film School. This experience allowed her to produce her first feature film, 918 GAU (2021), recently awarded best international film at the DocLisboa festival (2021), the Torino Film Festival (2021), Novos Cinemas (2021) and the Punto de Vista (2021) festival.
