(1980 San Sebastián ). When she was eight years old, Beatriz dreamt of being a hairdresser or a business-woman. Finally, she studied art at the Fine Arts Faculty in Bilbao and L’École des Arts Décoratifs in Strasberg. She took part in the contemporary dance workshop of the University of the Basque Country Idoia Zabaleta. Later she trained in contemporary dance and performance through a number of different meetings, workshops and courses with Simone Forti, Xavier Le Roy, Germana Civera, La Ribot and Esther Ferrer, among others. Recently she worked as a dancer with Mylène Benoit and Olivier Normand, with Mié Coquempot and with Antoine Defoort and Halory Goerger, in France, Canada and Europe.
Beatriz has done performing arts pieces since 2007, using several disciplines, most often: dance, plastic arts, music.
She has fulfilled her dream of being a businesswoman in as far as being an artist today involves being an entrepreneur and negotiator. As far as hairdressing is concerned, Beatriz is currently doing a vocational training course in aesthetics and hairdressing in Bilbao.
