Holds a doctorate cum laude in fine arts from the University of the Basque Country, with the doctoral thesis El pensamiento poético en la imagen cinematográfica (Poetic Thought in Film Imagery) (2017), for which he received a pre-doctoral grant from the Basque Government (2013). He obtained a degree in audiovisual communication specialising in film and video (2009), followed by two master’s: Performance Arts and Sciences (2011), and Art Research and Creation (2012). His research is complemented by the publication of articles in journals and exhibition catalogues, and contributions at conferences and seminars. He is also developing his work in photography, film and visual essay.
