Graduate of Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in San Francisco.  He has received Fulbright and MAEC-AECID Cultural Management scholarships and has won the Unpublished and Generations prize of La Casa Encendida, the Guasch Coranty Award, the Anne Bremer Memorial Prize and the Murphy and Cadogan Award of the San Francisco Art Foundation among others.  He has been given residencies at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome, BilbaoArte in Bilbao and Kulturabteilung Vorarlberg – Kunsthaus BilbaoArte in Bregenz (Austria).

He has shown his work at the Jorge Oteiza Foundation Museum, Blue Project Foundation, ArcoLisboa, Volta Basel, Scope Miami Beach, Arte Santander, the Huarte Contemporary Art Center and the La Nau Cultural Center (Valencia) and at the Lisi Hämmerle galleries in Bregenz (Austria), Ángeles Baños in Badajoz, Espacio Valverde in Madrid and Diego Rivera and SOMArts in San Francisco (California).
