Jorge Sevi

Jorge Sevi (1997, Zamora) is an artist whose practice is situated between language and its critical displacements in space.

Trained as an architect at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, he continued his studies with a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art and Visual Culture at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (2023–24) and a Master’s degree in Artistic Practices at the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Huarte (2024–25).

His practice takes shape through a sculptural approach that engages with space as its primary working material, from the space of a sheet of paper to the space formed by architecture. Through an amorous gesture, he seeks to enable openings of meaning and possibilities for dialogue between matter.
