Mar Torre

Personal timing and contingency are important factors in Mar’s work. These elements shape her artistic practice. Using an everyday medium like a mobile phone, she captures images that she prints on DIN A4 and DIN A3 photocopies, gradually building a narrative through geometric folds and layering. In these works, minimal intervention with the material gives rise to the subject matter. It is a working process in which she frequently reflects on what emerges.
