uxue ruiz de arkaute
Uxue Ruiz de Arkaute graduated from the faculty of Fine Arts (UPV/EHU), spent a period at the Universitatea de Artă și Design din Cluj-Napoca (UAD, Romania) and holds Masters in Research and Creation in Art (UPV/EHU) and History of Contemporary Art and Visual Culture (UCM, UAM and Queen Sofía Museum). Her work flows from a reflection on the relationship with the material and its performative nature. She has participated in research and curatorship projects and has exhibited in galleries such as Espacio Vértice (Madrid), C.C. Monthermoso (Vitoria-Gasteiz), Casa de Indias (Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz), Artgia (Vitoria-Gasteiz), General Assembly of Bizkaia (Bilbao), ZAS (Vitoria-Gasteiz) among other, and carries out actions and interventions in PlantaAlta (Hablarenarte, Madrid), Inmersiones XVIII (Vitoria-Gasteiz) and Sala el Águila (Madrid).
