A fair dedicated to forms of publishing that go beyond the usual formats and explore the field of experimentation and artistic research with books.
In addition, Bilboko Arte Liburu Azoka seeks to be a platform for emerging practices related to the world of independent publishing in the Basque Country, promoting the work of contemporary Basque artists through publications (books, catalogues, self-publishing, original publications or fanzines) and creating a space of dialogue by organising talks, presentations and workshops that reflect the artistic capabilities of a publication and its conditioning factors, from its creation until its publication.
