Taking the symphonic orchestra as a cultural model, Orquesta de Fin de Disco seeks to carry out a historical and aesthetic research from the current European context, creating, by means of an audiovisual device, a soundscape as a synaesthetic tool that can produce another kind of perspective. The project is organised around the assembly of a record player orchestra and a performance based on which two artistic objects are created: a video installation and the limited edition of a 12” vinyl LP.
