Pipa is an occasional publishing project that brings together mainly critical writings and the actions of artists.

It arose as the result of a number of meetings and conversations deriving from the idea of producing a new publication based on the desire to create a critical, self-critical, offbeat, feminist, queer, contemporary art magazine, born of affection, which attempts to rethink the traditional model of art magazines.

We understand criticism as a process in constant development, in its ability to object to specific objects, moments, situations – also in constant evolution. And art as an exceptional place, full of possibilities and potential resistance to the norm.

Pipa is a project by Maite Garbayo Maeztu, FerranElOtro and Francesc Ruiz.
