The girl says that the fountain is a person and at the same time a mountain of water, as sparkling as an emerald. It has no arms nor face, it’s blind and walks without moving to avoid undoing the folds of water surrounding it.
Today we stuffed ourselves with lobster. I brought two two-kilo ones and four smaller ones. I caught them in water that was green. It was like swimming inside a bottle. A unique sensation.
It’s the waters of the Orinoco.
