Like work practice, the attention is focused on the identification of routes towards the origins of an idea.
As the media, the video allows an analysis of the way one looks, crossing different surfaces towards the matter that gets hold of them as the origin.
The screen is also a surface and underneath this the doing is shown as the pre-formative definition where the temporality is given by the object over the image. As a translation, the drawing is proposed as a map that defines the territory, limits the outline and reveals the surface.
Surface as texture, as a bottom-less outline, as a haptic perception, as feeling that gives information about texture; or on the contrary, surface as the observation of that outline, from where one can see what lies below, the composition of the layers we are able to see, based on the complexity of the surface, as if a geologist explored the time dimension of the landscape.
Analyse the way one looks through that outline, how each material is made up, perceptions regarding what is hidden, is conveyed to the way the interviews that also form this project and will be published on paper are tackled.
Interviewing people with different professions who, because of their work have relations with the spatial location in a broad sense, allows the creation of a language around the initial material, as a support and complement to the concepts that circulate throughout the project.
The interviews give visibility to ways of working and reflecting on different search and production methodologies, concerning the locating of references in an abstract or specific space.
Each element that makes up this project refers to the search for a code which, as a working methodology, pursues a primitive and common language.
