eremuak#5

With five editions already published, eremuak#5 contributes to the challenge of establishing the journal as a space for reflection, critique and analysis of contemporary artistic practices in the Basque Country, and as a vehicle for disseminating the projects supported by the eremuak programme.

eremuak #5 looks at the importance that ground has taken in many current practices as a place for art to happen.

In examining the present situation, we have sought external perspectives that can provide a different point of view. The issue includes contributions in this regard from Pedro de Llano and María Virginia Jaua.

The journal also has contributions from Maite Garbayo, Ana Laura Aláez, Amaia Molinet (artistic contribution in the central pages), Miriam Alzuri, Begoña González and Miguel Zugaza, Nadia Barkate, José Ramón Amondarain, Alkolea Beach (Sandra Cuesta, Larraitz Torres and Amaia Urra), Oier Iruretagoiena and a back cover artistic contribution from Jone Loizaga.
